The D7 is a seven megapixel surveillance camera that records in high resolution throughout its 180º field of view, without fisheye distortion. At all times, the Digital Window camera, processing over 100 megapixels per second provides a 180° full situational awareness image, plus an instantly slewing zoom window, all with full motion video over one Ethernet connection.

This is an image from a current state-of-the-art, three megapixel, wide angle surveillance camera. It has digital zoom and panning. For all its distortion, it has only a 140° field of view. The Digital Window D7 camera has a full 180° field-of-view without fish-eye distortion. The image is easy to understand and there is an instantly slewing zoom window. In a typical security application, you want to be able to identify a face at a distance. The next slide compares the D7’s performance vs. current technology in zooming to the small area in the orange circle, above. The purpose of surveillance cameras is often to get a clear image of a person for facial recognition. The D7 camera produces images of markedly better quality than current wide angle IP cameras.
