A7-180 Camera Overview

Scallop Imaging's A7-180 7 megapixel panoramic 180° view: a plug and play replacement for any analog video camera.

The A7-180 uses a staring array of five (5) 1.3 megapixel video sensors to create a fully-fused, non-fisheye, 7 megapixel image.

The camera then fits the 180° view into a standard NTSC or PAL frame along with separate detail windows that can be independently placed and zoomed up to the full 7 megapixel resolution.

The viewing option shown in this video—Situational Awareness Window (SAW) on top with detail windows below—can also be rearranged to have the SAW on the bottom with detail windows on top. This is easily done in the camera settings pan, tilt and zoom presets.
